Kamara iraratsada debate sa P6.352 trilyong budget

INUMPISAHAN na nitong Lunes sa plenaryo ng Kamara ang pagtalakay sa P6.352 trilyong national budget para sa 2025.
Ayon kay Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez na ang pondo ay sumusuporta sa Agenda for Prosperity at Bagong Pilipinas programs ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Pinasalamatan ni Romualdez sina House Committee on Appropriations Chairman at Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co at Senior Vice Chairperson at Marikina City Rep. Stella Quimbo sa pagtapos ng panukalang badyet sa itinakdang oras.
Matapos ang sponsorship speech ni Co, sisimulan na ang debate sa general principles at panukalang badyet ng Department of Finance, DOJ at NEDA, kasama ang attached agency at lumpsum na badyet ng mga ito.
Ilan sa mga ahensiyang mahigpit na binabantayan ang pondo ay Comelec, DAR, DFA, DTI, at ilan pang executive offices at state colleges and universities ang sasalang. Gayundin ang Department of National Defense, Department of Migrant Workers, DENR, at kanilang mga attached agencies, at budgetary support sa mga government corporations.
Ang panukala na bawasan ang badyet ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) ay sasalang sa Setyembre 23.
Target ng Kamara na maaprubahan ang General Appropriations Bill bago ang adjournment sa Setyembre 25.
