“The President promised that his men in uniform, both the military and the police, will have priority in receiving the vaccine. You will be given priority because this is in recognition of your heroism. Today, we witness a promise fulfilled,” ayon kay Sec. Roque.

“The President said that the soldiers and the police must be given priority because you are also frontliners. While we recognize the heroism of our medical frontliners as being our soldiers in the war against COVID-19, without the security and stability provided by the AFP and the PNP,  they will not be able to discharge their function,” dagdag na pahayag nito.

Ang pagbabakuna sa A4 category, o sa lahat ng mga nagtatrabaho at kinakailangan na “on site for their job” ay nagsimula noong nakaraang linggo.

Sakop ng A4 category ang 35 milyong indibidwal subalit ang COVID-19 vaccine supply ng Pilipinas ay 12 milyong doses o “good for six million people” lalo pa’t ang lahat ng COVID-19 vaccine brands na available sa bansa ay ina-administer ng dalawang doses. (Daris Jose)
