Ellen DeGeneres, nagsalita na sa pinukol na matitinding isyu

NAG-CELEBRATE ng kanilang monthsary last September 20 sina Barbie Forteza at Jak Roberto.

Pero hindi nagkasama ang dalawa sa araw na iyon.

Kaya nag-throwback post na lang si Barbie sa kanyang Instagram:

“Patunay na ‘di kailangan maging sexy para makasungkit ng sexy… Tiwala lang! Happy monthsary @jakroberto. I miss you so much. I love you.” Nasa lock-in taping kasi Barbie para sa pagbabalik ng primetime series na Anak Ni Waray Vs Anak Ni Biday sa GMA Telebabad.

PROUD na pinakita ni Iwa Moto ang kanyang baby bump sa social media.

“Hello, baby! Mommy just wants to say I love you so much!” caption pa ni Iwa.

Second child nila ito ng kanyang partner na si Pampi Lacson. Noong nakaraang July in-announce ni Iwa na siya ay pregnant.

Hindi rin tinatago ni Iwa na mas nahihirapan siya ngayon sa ikalawang pagbubuntis niya. Matindi raw ang naging morning sickness niya at hindi siya nakakain ng maayos dahil lagi siyang nagsusuka.

Dahil ayaw niyang uminom ng mga gamot, ginagamit ni Iwa ay essential natural oils para maibsan ang mga nararamdaman niya sa kanyang pagbubuntis.

“To help me sleep, I use lavender. I mix lavender, cedar wood and a little bit of lemon. These three combos helps me go to sleep. A lot of you guys know that I have insomnia, lagi akong puyat, laging post ko nagse-senti ako.”

SA pagbabalik ng new season ng talk show na Ellen, kahit na walang audience sa studio dahil pinagbabawal pa dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic, nagsalita na si Ellen DeGeneres sa matitinding isyu na pinukol sa kanya sa mga nagdaang buwan.

Kabilang sa in-address ni Ellen ay ang pagiging toxic sa workplace sa kanyang show at ang hindi pagiging “kind” niya sa totoong buhay.

“I learned that things happened here that never should have happened. I take that very seriously, and I want to say I am so sorry to the people who were affected.

“I know that I am in a position of privilege and power, and I realize that with that comes responsibility, and I take responsibility for what happens at my show. We have made the necessary changes, and today we are starting a new chapter.

“There are articles in the press and on social media that said that I am not who I appear to be on TV, the ‘Be Kind’ lady.

“I started saying “be kind” after Tyler Clementi’s 2010 suicide as a result of anti-gay bullying. I thought the world needed more kindness, and it was a reminder that we all needed that. And I think we need it more than ever right now.

“The truth is, I am that person that you see on TV. I am also a lot of other things. Sometimes I get sad. I get mad. I get anxious. I get frustrated. I get impatient. And I am working on all of that.”

“I’ve played a straight woman in movies, so I’m a pretty good actress. But I don’t think that I’m that good that I could come out here every day for 17 years and fool you.

“If I’ve ever let someone down, if I’ve ever hurt their feelings, I am so sorry for that. If that’s ever the case, I have let myself down and I’ve hurt myself as well, because I always try to grow as a person.

“All I want is for every single one of them to be happy and to be proud to work here. My hope is that we can still be a place of happiness and joy. I still want to be the one hour a day that people can go to escape and laugh.
