NAVOTAS NAGAMIT NA LAHAT NG ASTRAZENECA ALLOCATION

NAGAMIT na lahat ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Navotas ang allocation ng Oxford-AstraZeneca Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines.

Ang Navotas ay nakatanggap ng 1,586 vials ng AstraZeneca mula sa national government’s March at May vaccine distribution. Ang bawat vial, depende sa manufacturer ay maaaring maglabas ng siyam hanggang 10 buong dosis.

Hanggang May 25, 14,285 na mga residente at nagtatrabaho sa lungsod ang nakatanggap ng kanilang unang jabs ng AstraZeneca. 596 sa mga ito aymga  frontliners, 3,237 senior citizens, at 10,452 ang persons with comorbidities.

Samantala, 154 frontliners na ang nakakumpleto ng dalawang doses ng kaparehong bakuna.

“We have used up all AstraZeneca vaccines allotted for first doses. The remaining stock is reserved for second doses and will be utilized in the coming weeks,” Mayor Toby Tiangco said.

“In Navotas, there is no reason to fear that vaccines will go to waste. We value each drop because we know how important these vaccines are to the health and safety of our citizens. This is also the reason we are aggressive in our efforts to vaccinate our people at the soonest,” dagdag niya. (Richard Mesa)
