Online shopping scams, maaari ng report sa pamamagitan ng eGov App -DICT

MAAARI ng i-report ang online shopping scams sa pamamagitan ng eReport feature ng eGov Super App sa gitna ng holiday season.

Sinabi ni Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Undersecretary David Almirol na “The newest feature is e-commerce reporting for the Department of Trade and Industry’s consumer protection. The DTI Consumer Protection Office receives real-time reports and responds promptly.”

Sinabi ni Almirol na ginawang simple ng bagong e-Report feature ang proseso ng pagre-report ng scam numbers.

“By simply capturing a screenshot of the suspicious text message along with the sender’s number, users can submit it directly to the government via the eGov App,” ang sinabi nito.

Dahil dito, hinikayat ng DICT ang publiko na gamitin ang eReport at ang eTravel features ng eGov Super App sa gitna ng inaasahang pagtaas ng krimen at byahe sa panahon ng Christmas season.

“One of the standout features of the eGov Super App is the eReport system. Users can easily report different concerns with just a simple click,”ani Almirol.

“Users can report crimes, fire incidents, complaints about red tape, abuse against women and children, among others through the eReport feature of the eGov Super App,” aniya pa rin.

Samantala, ang eTravel feature naman aniya ang magsisilbi bilang unified digital platform para sa mga pasahero na papasok at lalabas ng Pilipinas.

Gagawing simple naman ng feature na ito ang border control, mapahuhusay ang health surveillance, at makapagbibigay ng mahalagang pananaw para sa economic data analysis.

“It embodies the government’s commitment to efficiency and security in travel processes,” ang sinabi ni Almirol.

Samantala, June 2023 inilunsad ang eGov PH Super App na nagsilbi bilang unified platform para sa mga government services sa bansa. ( Daris Jose)
