Pumanaw na si Filipino Paralympic Games bronze medalist Josephine Medina sa edad 51.
Nakuha niya ang bronze medal sa table tennis competition noong 2016 Rio Paralympics.
Siya ang pangalawang Filipino na nakakuha ng medalya sa paralympic na ang una ay si Adeline Dumapong noong 2000 Sydney.
Nagpaabot naman ng pakikiramay ang Philippine Table Tennis Federation Inc at ang Philippine Sports Commission.
Isinilang si Medina noong Marso 20, 1970 kung saan nagwagi ito ng apat na gold medals sa 2008 ASEAN Para Games at gold medal naman sa 2017 ASEAN Para Games.
Nagkamit naman siya ng silver medal sa 2010 at 2018 Asian Para Games.
Walong buwan pa lamang siya ay dinapuan na siya ng polio.
