RIHANNA, idineklara na ‘National Hero’ ng kanyang hometown na Bridgetown, Barbados

IDINEKLARA na isang National Hero ang singer-actress-businesswoman na si Rihanna o Robyn Rihanna Fenty in real life sa kanyang hometown sa Bridgetown, Barbados.

Iginawad ang honour kay Rihanna noong November 30 by Prime Minister Mia Mottley kasabay ng pag-celebrate nang pagiging republic ng Barbados after 396 years sa ilalim ng British monarchy.

Si Rihanna ang second woman at 11th person to be declared a national hero of Barbados. The honor allows the singer to use the title “Right Honorable” in front of her name going forward.

Ayon kay Prime Minister Mottley: “On behalf of a grateful nation, but an even prouder people, we therefore present to you the designee for national hero for Barbados, ambassador Robyn Rihanna Fenty. May you continue to shine like a diamond and bring honor to your nation by your works, by your actions, and to do credit wherever you shall go. 

“Commanding the imagination of the world through the pursuit of excellence, her creativity, her discipline, and above all else, her extraordinary commitment to the land of her birth.

“Having satisfied that, Ambassador Robyn Rihanna Fenty has given service to Barbados which has been exemplified by visionary and pioneering leadership, extraordinary achievement and the attaining of the highest excellence to the Government of Barbados.”

Since 2018, nabigyan si Rihanna ng honorary title of Ambassador for Culture and Youth in Barbados. In 2008, former prime minister David Thompson declared February 22 as “Rihanna Day”

Isa si Rihanna sa biggest musical artists sa buong mundo with hit singles tulad ng “Umbrella”, “Pon de Replay”, “Disturbia”, “Don’t Stop The Music”, “Rude Boy”, “Shut Up And Drive”, “Love The Way You Lie”, “Only Girl (In The World)”, “We Found Love”, and “Diamonds”.

As of September 2018, Rihanna has sold over 250 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

On social media, Rihanna has 112 million followers on Instagram, 103.6 million on Twitter and 102 million on Facebook.

Na-declare din na isang billionaire si Rihanna ng Forbes with a net worth of $1.7 billion, making her the wealthiest female musician in the world and second only to Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer.

From staff, crew, talents, drivers, medical team, post production staff, our media friends and even the musicians kasi nga we released six songs for the Caught in the Act Inner love soundtrack.

“No hard feelings sa MMFF screening committee. Baka may different taste sila at may gusto silang genre pagdating sa pag pili ng Magic 8.”

Pinagmamalaki ni Direk Perry ang professionalism ng Gen Z cast niya na binubuo nila Joaquin Domagoso, Andi Abaya, Josh Lichtenberg, Bamboo B. at Jhassy Cruz Busran. 

“We shot the film during pandemic. That was June, As director, challenging for me kasi you have limited time, 12-14 hours per day unlike before you have 24 hours to shoot. The hardes part, you need to shoot in the province na ‘di mataas ang covid. 

“Thank God, no one got sick. Sumunod kami sa strict safety protocols lalo na at mga teenagers ang nasa cast namin.

“Even though, most of them are newcomers, they are very professional. They came to the set on time and prepared, alam nila dialogues nila. Kaya napadali ang work ko as director at maganda kinalabasan.”

SA taong 2022, isa sa goal ng Kapuso actor na si Kelvin Miranda ay ang magpalaki ng katawan.

Puwede rin naman, pero depende po sa anong role ang ibigay sa akin ng GMA sa susunod na teleserye. Gusto ko ring pagbigyan lahat, lalo na sa mga sumuporta sa akin sa simula pa lang ng showbiz career ko,” diin pa ni Kelvin.
