3,000 DAYUHAN, PINAUWI

BI Commissioner Jaime Morente disclosed that Chinese deportees, who totaled 3,009, comprised the bulk of the 3,219 aliens who were sent out in 2020.

“Deported aliens are automatically placed in our blacklist, and are banned from re-entering the Philippines,” ayon kay Morente.

“We have arrested big batches of aliens in the past years through joint operations of BI operatives with other local law enforcement agencies,” dagga pa ni Morente.

“This was a result of travel restrictions imposed by the government, wherein very little number of aliens were able to enter the country,” ayon pa sa BI Chief.
