Latest ‘Fast & Furious 9’ Trailer, Packed with High-Octane Action

BUCKLE up because Universal Pictures has unveiled the latest trailer for Fast & Furious 9.

In the ninth installment of the Fast & Furious Saga, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) must turn his back from a peaceful life with Letty and their son.

This is after a world-shattering plot is devised by a dangerous assassin and Dom’s own forsaken brother, Jakob (John Sena).

The four-minute F9 trailer plays out like a movie clip for the first minute, before switching into more traditional trailer fare. It then sets up the stakes: Dom’s brother Jakob Toretto has got his hands on some MacGuffin that will apparently go into space to launch itself.

Yes, Fast & Furious 9 is going into space. That brings everyone back, including a certain someone from the dead: Han Lue (Sung Kang).

Directed by Justin Lee, who has helmed the third to sixth installments of the franchise, Fast & Furious 9 brings Vin Diesel back into the driver seat as the lead character Dom in Universal Pictures’ new high-octane action film.

This time, the stakes will take Dom and his crew to different parts of the globe– from London to Tokyo, from Central America to Edinburgh, and from a secret bunker in Azerbaijan to the teeming streets of Tbilisi.

In addition to Diesel, Cena and Kang, Fast & Furious 9 also stars Michelle Rodriguez as Dom’s wife Letty Ortiz, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Ludacris as Tej Parker, Jordana Brewster as Dom’s sister Mia Toretto, Nathalie Emmanuel as Megan Ramsey, Helen Mirren as Magdalene Shaw, Charlize Theron as Fast & Furious 8 villain Cipher, Lucas Black as Sean Boswell, Bow Wow as Twinkie and Jason Tobin as Earl Hu (from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift), Anna Sawai as Elle, Michael Rooker as Buddy, and Cardi B as Leysa. Finn Cole, Vinnie Bennett, Ozuna, and Francis Ngannou have undisclosed roles on F9.
