DAHIL sa Coronavirus Disease 2019 o Covid-19, kinansela na ng Philippine Basketball Association o PBA ang 10th PBA Developmental League o D- League 2020.
Sang-ayon nitong Miyerkoles kay PBA Commissioner Wilfrido Marcial, sa susunod na taon na lang ibabalik ang farm league ng professional hoops matapos itong madiskaril ng pandemya.
“Next year na ulit ‘yung D- League natin,” namutawi kay Marcial. “Mahirap para sa atin kasi karamihan ng players, amateurs eh.”
Batay sa patakaran ng Inter- Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Disease , pro- fessional pa lang pinapayagang makabalik, isa na ang PBA.
“Majority ng kasali this conference ay collegiate teams at hindi pa sila pinapayagan ng gobyerno na makabalik kahit sa practice o scrimmage,” panapos na sambit ng opisyal. (REC)
