PH Alex Eala bumaba ang world rankings bago sumabak sa US Open

Bahagyang bumaba ang world rankings ni Alex Eala sa Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) bago pa man ang kanyang pagbabalik sa juniors para sa prestihiyosong US Open na gaganapin sa September 6-11, 2021 sa New York.
Sinasabing kabilang sa dahilan ay ang halos kawalan ng events sa women’s pro circuit . Ang Filipina sensation ay bumaba sa No. 513 batay sa updated list ng WTA matapos ang career-best placing na No. 505.
Gayunman pagdating sa juniors nasa No. 2 seed si Eala sa US Open girls’ singles.
Ang 16-anyos ay ang world juniors No. 2 sa likod ng No. 1 na si Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva ng Andorra, na siya ring magiging top-seeded player sa nalalapit na US Open.
Target ni Eala ang kanyang first singles at third overall Slam sa US Open ngayong taon matapos makuha ang dalawang doubles titles.
