NBI PASOK SA IMBESTIGASYON SA ABOGADO SA COTABATO

MAGSASAGAWA na rin ng imbestigasyon ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) kaugnay sa pagpatay sa isang abodago sa South Cotabato na si Juan Macababbad.
Ito ay matapos ipag-utos ni Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra nitong Lunes sa pamamagitan ng Department Order No. 222 kay NBI Officer-In-Charge Eric Distor na magsagawa ng imbestigasyon at case buid-up sa pagkamatay ni Macababbad’s.
Ang 68 anyos na abogado ay binaril sa harap ng kanyang bahay sa Barangay Poblacion, Surallah, South Cotabato noong September 15.
Iniulat na nakakatanggap na ito ng mga death threats bago pa man nangyari ang pamamaril.
Ang mga hinawakang mga kaso ng human rights lawyer ay kadalasan sa mga mangsasaka, mangingisda, i for al settlers at biktima ng umano’y extra-judicial killings.
Magkakaroon naman ng public viewing sa kanyang labi hanggang September 23 sa kanyang bahay habang ang kanyanv libing ay gagawin sa Koronadal Valley Eternal Garden kinabukasan.
