Robredo, nangunguna sa mga Presidentiables na may magandang pro-poor program

NANGUNGUNA si Presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo sa mga kandidatong may pinakamagandang plataporma para sa mga mahihirap sa bansa

Sa isinagawang Veritas Truth Survey sa tanong na kung sino sa mga presidentiables ang may ‘best pro-poor track record and platform of government’ 42-porsyento sa 2, 400 respondents ang sang-ayon sa mga programang ipinakikita ni Robredo.

Sinundan naman ito ni Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa 25-percent, Sen. Panfilo Lacson 15-percent, Mayor Isko Moreno 12-percent habang kapwa nakakuha ng tig-isang porsyento sina Ka Leody De Guzman at dating Defense Secretary Norberto Gonzales habang apat na porsyento naman ang walang pinili sa mga kandidato.

Ayon kay Radio Veritas President Father Anton CT Pascual layunin ng survey na sukatin ang pagiging ‘servant leadership persona’ ng mga kandidato na may tunay na hangaring maglingkod sa bayan ng tapat at may pagmamalasakit sa nasasakupang mamamayan.

“This is at the core of our Catholic Values and Beliefs. Thus, we hope that this survey will help our presidential aspirants to look inwards in appreciation of genuine servant leadership to which our Catholic electorate looks forward to in these upcoming polls,” pahayag ni Fr.Pascual.

Nilinaw naman ni VTS Head Bro. Clifford Sorita na ang nasabing survey ay hindi voting preference kundi makita kung ano ang mas pipiliin ng mga Catholic Respondents batay sa mga mahahalagang usapin lipunan lalo na sa kahirapan.

“Like in previous surveys, this is not a voting preference survey.  The goal of this survey is to create an ‘issue-based’ assessment of the presidential aspirants for the 2022 polls based on the perception of the Catholic Respondents of this survey.  And, if this pro-poor agenda becomes a primary voting motivator for this upcoming poll then results of which can be duly correlated in due time.  For now, our Veritas Truth Survey is being conducted vis-à-vis crucial social issues to which the Church has various advocacies and apostolate,” ani Sorita sa Radio Veritas.

Ginanap ang VTS nationwide survey noong December 1, 2021 hanggang January 15, 2022 sa pamamagitan ng text-based at online data gathering.

Patuloy namang pinaiigting ng Radio Veritas ang One Godly Vote campaign na layong matulungan ang 63-milyong botante na kilalanin ang bawat kandidato sa nalalapit na halalan sa Mayo 2022. (Bishop Jesus “Jemba” M. Basco)
