Tumanggap ng papuri sa Korean executive producer ng ‘Start-Up’: ALDEN at BEA, nagpapasalamat na nagustuhan ang Filipino adaptation ng hit series

SURPRISED ang production team ng “Start-Up Philippines” nang tumanggap sila ng papuri mula sa executive producer ng 2020 hit Korean series na “Start-Up” na si Yu Sang-Won.  

Kaya naman ipinalabas agad ito ng GMA Network sa ‘Chika Minute’ segment ng “24 Oras” last Tuesday, October 18.

Message ni Yu Sang-Won: “We were pleasantly surprised at how well the Philippine version of Start-Up was produced.  It was impressive… How GMA Entertainment Group put in effects to satisfy both the original fans and the local audience.

“This goes the same with the cast… The overall look and feel and the cinematography of the local version were similar to that of the original version so that Filipino fans will feel familiar, yet the local production team creatively adapted the story to meet the expectations of the local audience. Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo added their own charm to the characters.”

Kaya nagpaabot ng pasasalamat si Alden: “Our sincerest gratitude to Mr. Yu Sang-Won for the nice feedback for our show.  It was really an honor for us to do the Filipino adaptation of Start-Up.  We hope that we can also inspire a lot of local audiences here in the Philippines as much as the Korean version did all over the world.”

Mula naman kay Bea: “This is kind of somehow a little validation for us na they like our project.  We work hard for this.  Masaya rin ako hindi lang sa reaksyon but also sa reaksyon ng mga tao on social media.  Especially the fans of Start-Up Korea kasi napapanood nila ‘yung Philippine adaptation.”

Meanwhile, excited na ang mga followers ng serye dahil nagkakausap na sina Tristan (Alden) at Dani (Bea), kahit minsan ay parang nabubugnot kausapin ni Tristan si Dani, pero madali namang nagso-sorry ito.

Patuloy lamang ang pagsubaybay ninyo sa “Start-Up PH” gabi-gabi after “Maria Clara at Ibarra.”

MARAMING humahanga kay Jean Garcia sa pagtanggap nito ng character niyang si Amelia, sa GMA Afternoon Prime na “Nakarehas na Puso.”

Kung iba-iba raw sigurong artista ini-offer ang role, baka hindi nito tanggapin.  Sa simula kasi ng story, may apat na anak na sina Jean at Leandro Baldemor, pero hirap na hirap ang buhay nila, kaya madalas nangungutang lamang si Jean para may makain sila, hanggang sa pumasok siya ng trabaho kay Glenda Garcia, bilang isang courier ng mga bawal na gamot. Hindi niya alam iyon hanggang sa na-trap siya at nakulong.

“Hindi ako nagdalawang-isip tanggapin ang role dahil naiiba ito at first time kong gagawin,” sabi ni Jean.

“Alam kong mahirap,  mula pa lamang sa paglalagay ng make-up then prosthetics, hanggang sa taping sa loob ng kulungan, pero nagustuhan ko  ang story na napapanahon ang message. Salamat po sa mga sumusubaybay sa amin araw-araw.”

LABIS naman ang pasasalamat ng buong cast ng “Abot-Kamay ang Pangarap” na sina Jillian Ward, Carmina Villarroel, Richard Yap at Dominic Ochoa, ganun din ng production staff ng GMA Network dahil sa walang sawa nilang pagsubaybay sa magandang story ng isang batang-batang neuro-surgeon, at ngayon nga ay pataas nang pataas ang bilang ng viewers nito.

Post ng programa: “Road to a Billion Views!” dahil abot-kamay na nga nito ang halos one 1 billion views on TikTok.  More than halfway there na raw sila dahil last October 19, ay umabot na ito ng 513M views.

Ang “Abot-Kamay na Pangarap” ay napapanood Mondays to Saturdays, 2:30PM, after “Eat Bulaga.”
