PBBM, ipinag-utos sa PSA na bilisan ang paglilimbag sa PhilSys digital ID

IPINAG-UTOS ni Pangulong  Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. , araw ng Martes sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) na i-fast-track o madaliin ang printing o paglilimbag sa digital version ng  Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) ID.

“Let us print out as much as we can and then isunod natin ‘yung physical ID as soon as we can,” ayon sa Pangulo sa naging pagpupulong nito kina National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Arsenio Balisacan at mga opisyal ng PSA.

Sa nasabing miting, napag-usapan ang printing capacity kung saan ang usapin ay kinabibilangan din ng  “late start of the flow of data and the volume of the data which is less than what is supposed to be.”

Iniulat din sa Punong Ehekutibo ang  data flow mula PSA sa  Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) ay naitama.

Sinabi naman ni PSA Undersecretary Dennis Mapa  na patuloy itong makikipagtulungan sa BSP para sa mas mabilis at pagpapalakas sa volume ng  Phil ID production at printing.

Nauna nang tinukoy ni Mapa ang pagdagsa ng mga registrants ng mga PhilSys matapos na maantala ang paglimbag o printing ng national ID cards.

Buwan ng Oktubre, sinimulan ng  PSA  ang implementasyon ng printed digital version ng  Phil ID.

“Through the printed Phil ID, registered persons can immediately utilize the benefits of PhilSys, such as faster and seamless transactions in accessing financial and social protection services requiring proof of identity, subject to authentication,” ayon sa  PSA. (Daris Jose)
