‘Friends’, nai-record uli after four decades: JACKIE LOU, labis-labis ang pasasalamat kay SHARON sa kanilang duet

PAGKARAAN ng apat na dekada, muling nai-record ni Megastar Sharon Cuneta ang kanyang ’80s hit na “Friends,” na kung saan kasama ang matalik na kaibigan na si Jackie Lou Blanco.

Sa Instagram ni Sharon, ibinahagi nga niya ang ilan sa mga lines ng song, na isinulat ni George Canseco para sa kanilang 1983 Viva Films na “Friends In Love”, na naging daan para sila’y maging magkaibigan.

Napapanood ang official music video sa official YouTube channel ni Sharon.

Sa kanyang post last week, “Others would call this a duet. I prefer to call this version done ‘by Jacquilou Blanco featuring Sharon Cuneta.’ It’s also my first music video since the one I did for the theme song of my movie, ‘Caregiver’ in (was it?) 2008!

“Abangan nyo po! I tweaked a couple of lines in the song written by the great George Canseco for our movie ‘Friends In Love’ to turn it into a song about just real friendship,” sabi niya.

“I might be wrong — but I don’t think there’s been a song about just friendship in years! So here’s @jackielou.blanco‘s and my surprise for you.”

Sa comment section ng post, nagpasalamat si Jackie Lou kay Sharon.

“From the bottom of my heart, Mama @reallysharoncuneta. Your doing this with me is what has made this song so special. From my heart that is filled with so much joy, Thank you so much!!! I love you Mama. Like you said, I hope they all enjoy our surprise,” say ng aktres.

Iba’t-iba naman ang naging reaction netizens na yun iba ay natuwa at may nag-nega rin..
