‘Kalap’ program, makatutulong para makaya ng mga magsasaka at MSMEs na maging mas ‘productive, competitive’ -PBBM

SINABI ni Pangulong  Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.  na makatutulong ang  Kapatid Angat Lahat for Agriculture Program (KALAP), isang private sector initiative  na makaya ng mga magsasaka at micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sa bansa na mas maging  “more productive, profitable, sustainable and globally competitive.”

“We know very well how MSMEs are crucial in the creation of new ideas, of jobs and wealth in the country, so it is only right that we recognize the power and the influence that this sector holds,” ang bahagi ng talumpati ni Pangulong Marcos sa ceremonial signing ng  memorandum of agreement (MOA) sa KALAP program sa Malakanyang.

“We also recognize the role of big corporations in [innovating] MSMEs, spurring their growth, and realizing their potential. Hence, I am very happy to note the objective of the KALAP to integrate small farmers and agri-entrepreneurs into the value chain of large companies,” ayon sa Chief Executive.

Nagpahayag naman ng labis na pasasalamat si Pangulong Marcos kay GO Negosyo Founder Jose Maria “Joey” Concepcion III  para sa”the efforts you invest in our economy, particularly in the agricultural sector, [which] are truly instrumental in bringing progress across our lands.”

“The partnerships that Go Negosyo has been fostering for many years are precisely “the kind of partnerships that we are hoping to bring together,” ayon sa Chief Executive.

Pagbibigay diin sa mga benepisyo ng whole-of-society approach, sinabi ng Pangulo na ang kanyang gobyerno, ang mga  private businesses, at ang publiko ay marapat lamang na magbigay ng suporta sa programa at sa isa’t isa.

“I have always said that in the difficulties that we are facing ahead, there is no sector of society that can manage the recovery by itself,” ayon sa Punong Ehekutibo.

“And it cannot be done unless the different sectors of society are working together, working together and trying to implement a plan with a common understanding of what is needed to be done, with a common understanding of what people need, without forgetting every part of that sector or that area of the economy,”  giit ng Pangulo.

Nais din ng Pangulo na makipagtulungan ang mga ahensiya ng pamahalaan sa Philippine Center of Entrepreneurship-Go Negosyo at iba pang katuwang sa pribadong sektor kasabay nang paghikayat na manatiling totoo sa  kanilang calling bilang civil servants, “embracing patriotism, integrity, and excellence” para sa tagumpay ng KALAP program.

Umaasa naman ang Pangulo na hindi mapapagod na makipagtulungan sa administrasyon ang mga  private partners ng gobyerno at mga negosyo. (Daris Jose)
