Seven months ng walang work, kaya umalis sa ABS-CBN… SHARON, ‘free agent’ na kaya puwede nang tumanggap sa ibang networks

SA mahabang Instagram post ni Megastar Sharon Cuneta last Sunday, nagpahayag ito na forever siyang magiging Kapamilya at patuloy na susuporta sa network kung kinakailangan.

“I have been and will always be a Kapamilya,” panimula ni Mega sa kanyang post.

“I have been with ABS-CBN since 1988, when they were just rebuilding their station from the ground up after years of closure by the then-Philippine government.”

Pagpapatuloy pa niya, “I did three shows with them which carried my name – The Sharon Cuneta Show for eleven years, SHARON for 6 years, and the third, also called SHARON, for another 6 or so years.

“Then I did Starpower, The Biggest Loser, was a coach on The Voice Kids and The Voice Teens, and a judge in Your Face Sounds Familiar.

“And of course, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, which I owe largely to my “son” @cocomartin_ph , who handpicked me for the role of Aurora Guillermo.”

Sa naturang social media post ni Mega, inamin niya na matagal na siyang walang pangmatagalang kontrata.
Kaya sa tingin niya ay nasa tamang panahon at handa na siyang na makapagtrabaho sa ibang networks tulad ng GMA-7, na pinanggalingan niya.

“For the first time in all these decades, I don’t have a long-term contract with my station. I know it is a number of things that have caused this.

“We lost our franchise, the station has way too many stars now and we of the “old guard” have to give way.
“So while I will always be there when they need me and will always be grateful, I guess it is understandable that I for now consider myself a free agent.

“It’s time I opened myself up to other stations that may need my services, while always keeping my Kapamilya “duties,” if and when they come. One goes only where one is needed.”

Paglilinaw pa niya ni Shawie, “And no, wala pa akong nakakausap na kahit sino mula sa kahit anong istasyon, for the record lang po.”

Sa pagtatapos ng kanyang post at mensahe para sa kanyang mother studio, “I love you, ABS-CBN. My memory and loyalty are unquestionable. But a girl’s gotta work where she can and where she’s wanted. See you again hopefully soon, whenever you may need me! ❤️💚💙”

May pahabol pa si Mega para sa anak-anakan na si Coco, na labis-labis na talaga niyang pinasasalamatan, kasama ang pa-hashtags sa mga executives ng ABS….

At ngayon ngang in-announce ni Mega na ‘free agent’ na siya, komento ng netizens, baka naman magka-interes sa kanyang ang GMA-7 na una niyang pinanggalingan, na mabigyan siya ng talk show or teleserye.

Welcome naman ito kay Sharon, dahil marami siyang friends doon at never daw nawala ang love and respect sa kanya. Kaya nakakapag-guest siya sa GMA shows kahit exclusive star siya ng ABS-CBN.

Sinagot naman ito ni Mega ng, “For the record I have not spoken to anyone from any other station. I just have no work yet at ABS-CBN. Seven months na. For the first time.”

Dagdag pa niya kahit sa saang istasyon at puwede naman, basta maganda ang offer.

“Kahit naman saan basta matino trabaho. Kung saan ako kailangan at gusto. Kung may work naman sa ABS di ako aalis. Di naman ako umaalis naghihintay lang pero di naman kaya maghintay forever.”

Well, abangan na lang natin si Sharon kung saan TV station siya lalabas sa mga darating na buwan, na for sure aabangan lalo na ng mga Sharonians.
