Alagang aso tinuturing na angels: Pananaw ni HEART, ‘always be grateful in life’

“I love it, I love being on the go I think I’m one of the lucky ones who truly enjoy what I do. And I’m also very grateful.

“I’ve been working for a long time, I think mga twenty-three years, twenty four years, and so you know kahit pagod parang nananaig yung  pagka-grateful na hanggang ngayon there is something that they like about me so I’m okay, sige lang fill up the schedule lang.”

Isa sa pinakasikat na artista at social media personality sa buong Pilipinas at sa Asya, kaya hindi naman katakata-takang napaka-hectic ng schedule ni Heart.

Kaya paano niya nagagawang magkaroon ng inner peace at maging kalmado sa gitna ng matinding distraction at toxicity sa social media?

“I wake up very early in the morning actually and I always make sure that I have a quiet time, I have a diary, I need to write down in my journal, I never let go of my journal, because I feel like it’s nice to always be grateful in life.

“That’s one thing that I like doing. I also love listening to music and as much as possible I like to have my dogs around me all the time.

“I feel like those are my angels!”

Nakausap namin si Heart at iba pang miyembro ng media sa launch niya bilang celebrity endorser ng Zion massage chair.

“I’m super happy and super grateful. It’s just always important to be you know, to collaborate with a company or a brand that… I love advocating self-care, you know.

“Self-care means maarte ka but maarte doesn’t mean negative, you know. You go through so much in life, you work so hard, I mean it’s really important to get as much as a tap on the back.

“Like a full massage, and I’m for that, I’m really for promoting, you know, self-care, really putting yourself first, I feel like, you know I’m really thankful that they’re giving me a chance to you know, have a voice in a sense to talk about you know, having a massage isn’t just vanity.

“It’s about health, it’s about health is wealth, it’s about taking a pause no matter what kahit madami tayong pinagdadaanan.

“Like for me, I do have my clothes, I have this beautiful flower on my neck,” pagtukoy ni Heart sa kanyang magandang kasuotan sa araw ng kanyang launch, “pero pagod na pagod din po ako marami din akong problema, normal na tao din ako and I think it’s important that you know, you put yourself first, always, without questions asked!

“So I’m so happy!”

Napakaganda, fresh at recharged si Heart at aminado siya na malaking bahagi nito ay dulot ng relaxation at therapy na dulot ng regular niyang paggamit ng Zion massage chairs.

“My God, ang Zion ang aking charger these days!

“Siya ang aking charger, honestly I really need it every night.”

IPINAGDIWANG ni Heart ang kanyang kaarawan nitong Pebrero 14, kaya tinanong namin siya, sino si Heart Evangelista ngayon?

“I think… oh wow! I’ve come a long way… I feel… Before I would say I’m thirty-ganyan but I have a mind of a twenty one-year-old. I’m thirty eight but I feel like I have a mind of a fifty-year-old.

“I think I had a lot of learning to do with you know, with my job, personal thing

s, with responsibilities. I’m on top of everything, and I love being on top of everything.

“I like the feeling that you could drop me off anywhere and I will survive.

“You know, I never used to travel by myself, now I travel by myself.

“Iniiyakan ko yung connecting flight sa Dubai, yung train. Ay, umiiyak na ‘ko. Nangangati na ko, puro na ako pantal before.

“Now, I can do anything. I can take anything you want, I’m good and I love it!

“I love it that I’m not a hostage to anyone. I don’t need to rely on anyone, and I feel like it’s very empowering.

“And I really, really appreciate the people like my husband,” pagtukoy naman ni Heart sa mister niyang si Senator Chiz Escudero, “who is very supportive of, you know, me being a late bloomer, but you know being independent, and really learning to survive on my own. I love it.

“I feel really empowered.

“I’m still very sweet, but I know when to put my foot down, and I will fight for myself this time around. And I like that, I’m really like that.

“Hindi na ako makakawawa ngayon ng kahit sino, and I love it.

“I’ve always been very frank and honest about my emotions, I just didn’t know how to put them into words ‘coz I was afraid that people would think, di ba, gano’n tayo ‘pag artista, especially, you have a mold that you have to follow.

“But just as long as you say it sweetly and politely but you get the message across, I feel it’s very empowering that you know you’re given a voice.

“I love that I had to go through a lot throughout the years to be where I am today.”
