Ipinaliwanag ng Philippine Sports Commission ang pagbabawas sa mga allowances ng mga national athletes at coaches.
Sinabi ni PSC chairman William Ramirez, na simula ngayong Hunyo 1 ay ipapatupad na nila ang pagbawas sa mga allowances ng mga national athtletes at coaches.
Nagkaroon aniya hindi paggalaw sa National Sports Development Fund mula sa remittances na nanggagaling sa Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp dahil sa coronavirus pandemic.
Inamin nito na naging mahirap sa kanila ang nasabing desisyon.
Tiniyak naman nito na maibabalik ang nasabing pondo kapag nakabalik na sa normal ang lahat.
