Award-winning cinematographer na si ROMY VITUG, pumanaw na sa edad na 86

INAMIN ni Super Tekla na hindi raw madali ang trabaho nila bilang performer sa comedy bar.

May pagkakataon daw na puwedeng manganib ang buhay nila.

“Kasi mahirap eh, dapat responsibility mo ‘yun. ‘Yung words mo dapat appropriate paglapat mo sa tao para hindi offended. Noon may na-offend sa biro ko, nagkasa ng baril.”

Naayos naman daw ang gulo noong mag-sorry si Tekla.

“Nakuha ko siya na ‘Sorry, I’m a comedian. Siyempre pumasok ka sa lugar na ganito, expect the unexpected. We say something not in common, so bear with us.

“Dapat talaga pag-aralan mo ‘yung mga tamang salitang ilalapat mo sa performance mo.”

Thankful si Tekla na patuloy lang tinatangkilik ng marami ang show nila ni Boobay na ‘The Boobay and Tekla Show’ sa GMA.

PUMANAW na ang award-winning cinematographer na si Romy Vitug. He was 86.

Nakumpirma ang pagpanaw ni Vitug sa Facebook by his daughter, Dana Vitug-Taylor.

According to Dana, pumanaw si Romy noong January 18.

“This morning at 6:11pm Philippine time, my TATAY, Romy V Vitug, passed away. He was known as the Legendary Cinematographer in the Philippines world of cinema but we have known him as our Dearly Beloved TATAY! TATAY, we will surely miss you. We love you so much! This is not a goodbye but rather until we meet again!”

Kasama sa 34 awards ni Romy ay ang lifetime achievement awards mula sa Cinemanila International Filmfest in 2000 at Gawad Urian in 2016. He was inducted by Metro Manila Film Festival into their hall of fame in 2019.

Ilan sa mga pelikulang naging cinematographer si Romy ay sa Salome, Atsay , Pagputi ng Uwak… Pag-itim ng Tagak, Paradise Inn, Bakit May Kahapon Pa, The Flor Contemplacion Story, Bituing Walang Ningning, Saan Nagtatago Ang Pag-ibig?, Isla, Kailan Tama Ang Mali, Paano Ba Ang Mangarap?, Uod At Rosas, Kung Mahawi Man Ang Ulap, Sinasamba Kita, Rizal Sa Dapitan, Sa Pusod Ng Dagat, Inagaw Mo Ang Lahat Sa Akin, Pangako Ng Kahapon at marami pang iba.

SA edad na 72, makulay pa rin ang sexlife ng veteran Hollywood actress na si Jane Seymour kasama ang kanyang 73-year old musician boyfriend na si John Zambetti.
