Boston Marathon may ilang pagbabago sa 2026

May pagbabagong ipapatupad ang organizers ng sikat na Boston Marathon ang qualifying times sa darating na 2026.

 

 

Ayon sa Boston Athletic Association na dapat ang mga runners ay maabot ang 26.2-mile race na limang minutong mas mabilis kumpara sa mga nakaraang taon para makakuha ng numero.

 

 

Paliwanag ni Jack Fleming, pangulo at CEO ng Boston Athletic Association, na kada taon ay may mga pagbabago silang ginagawa.

 

 

Ipinakilala ang nasabing qualifying time noong 1970 at ito ay binago kada dekada.

 

Habang ang mga runners na sumasali para makalikom ng pera sa charity ay hindi na kailangan maabot pa ang qualifying standard.

 

Nangangahulugan nito na ang mga runners na may edad 18 hanggang 34 ay kailangan tumakbo sa marathon ng dalawang oras, 55 minuto o mas mabilis pa para makasali sa 2026 edition.
