COVID tests sa mga college athletes hindi na mandatory

HINDI na mandatory na sumailalim sa coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) testing ang mga atletang estudyante kapag nagdesisyon ang mga higher educational institution (HEI) ng kanilang training.
Ito ang naging pahayag ng technical working group na binubuo ng Commission on Higher Education (CHEd), Philippine Sports Commission, Games and Amusement Board at Department of Health.
Ang nasabing desisyon ay base na rin sa isinagawang konsultasyon sa University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) at National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
Sinabi ni DOH health promotion policy head Rodley Carza na nasa HEI na kung magpapatupad sila ng COVID-19 testing.
Kabilang sa guidelines na isinama ay ang pagkakaroon ng bubble type sa mga campus at ang pagpatupad ng health measures sa mga training facilities.
Paglilinaw pa nila na hindi pa pinapayagan ang exhibition at kumpetisyon at tanging training lamang ang papayagan.
