DepEd namahagi ng “new normal” handbook para sa mga magulang

NAMAHAGI ang Department of Education ng “new normal” handbook para sa mga magulang.
“We understand that this school year is challenging because we are faced with COVID- 19 pandemic. Despite this, the agency assured that it remains “fully committed to fulfilling our role in upholding your children’s right to access quality education while promoting their health, safety, and overall well-being,” ayon sa DepEd.
Ipinaliwanag sa “Parents’ Handbook for the New Normal in Basic Education” ang iba’t ibang paraan ng distance learning na maaaring pagpiliian ng magulang at guro.
“It is important that you assess the needs and capabilities of your own child and the quality and quantity of support that you can provide before you decide on the modality that suits your child best,” saad ng DepEd.
Nakapaloob din sa handbook ang mga sagot sa mga karaniwang tanong ng mga magulang ukol sa iba’t ibang paraan ng pag-aaral sa distance learning.
Kasama rin dito ang pratikal na tips sa mga magulang, positive parenting, at pagdidisiplina habang nag-aaral ang kanilang mga anak sa tahanan na ipinagkaloob ng Save the Children Foundation. (Ara Romero)
