IPINAKILALA na ang Darna TV series star na si Jane de Leon bilang new brand ambassador ng Sante Barley and Daily C sa ginanap na launching sa Dusit Thani Manila sa Makati City.

At sa naganap na short media interview, ibinahagi ni Jane na napanood niya halos lahat ng Darna movies and series, pero ang pinaka-tumatak sa kanya ay ang pagganap ni Angel Locsin.

Pahayag ni Jane, “lahat naman po, actually, tumatak po talaga, siyempre, Ms. Angel.”

“Sabi niya sa ’kin kapag pagod ako, sabihin ko lang daw talaga na I need to take a rest,.”

Hindi rin niya itinago na naging emosyonal siya nang sa wakas ay naisuot na ang costume na matagal din niyang hinintay.

“Nag-fitting na po ako and nasuot ko na rin po ‘yung costume, surprise po ‘yan,” sabi pa niya.

“‘Yung headdress pagkasuot po sa ’kin, mangiyak-ngiyak na po talaga ako, umiyak po talaga ako. After ilang years, 2019 po kasi ako in-announce and nasukat ko ‘yung costume last year.”

Dagdag pa ng pinakabagong Darna na malapit na lumipad sa ABS-CBN channels, “parang doon lang po talaga sa’kin nag-sink in na, this is it.”

Ang Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series ay mula sa direksyon ni Chito S. Roño at bali-balitang ito ang ipapalit sa timeslot ng FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano ni Coco Martin na nalalapit na ang pagtatapos.
