NASA pitong mga kasapi dati ng Gilas Pilipinas o national women’s quintet sa pamumuno ni Raiza Rose Palmera-Dy ang mga pumasok sa opisyal 177 ballers para sa 1st Women’s National Basketbal League (WNBL) Rookie Draft 2020 sa San Fernando, Pampanga bago matapos ang buwang ito.
Kasama ng 27 na taong-gulang at 5-6 ang taas na si Dy, 29, ang anim pang former nationals sa nakatakdang pagtitipon sina April Lualhati, 32, Gemma Miranda, 25, Camille Sambile, 28, Mary Joy Galicia, 31, Marites Gadian , at Angeli Jo Gloriani.
Nabatid kamakalawa kay WNBL executive vice president Rhose Montreal, na ang nasabing bilang ay buhat sa mga sinala sa mahigit 700 aplikante para sa draft sa kauna-unahang professional women’s league sa bansa.
