HINDI inakala ng ‘Drag Race Philippines’ Season 1 contestant na si Eva Le Queen na mabibigyan siya ng pagkakataong umarte sa isang teleserye.
Kasama nga siya sa cast ng ‘The Write One’ ng GMA Public Affairs at Viu Philippines.
Ikinatuwa pa ni Eva na binigyan daw siya ng creative freedom para sa character niya sa teleserye.
“This is my first acting engagement. I’m a performer kasi, I do drag. Puwede pala na I am myself. Kasi for my role Queenie, hinayaan nila ako to do the creatives of who my character is. Talagang I do my own makeup on the set. I style myself. I do my own wigs.
“Hinayaan ako and I’m just really proud to represent the queer community and my drag community dito,” sey ni Eva na natuwang katrabaho sina Ruru Madrid, Bianca Umali, Lotlot de Leon at iba pang kasama sa teleserye.
Dating OFW sa Singapore si Eva na taga-Marikina City. Umabot siya sa Final 4 ng ‘Drag Race Philippines’ at founder siya ng Drag Playhouse PH na tumutulong sa ibang drag artists na tulad niya.

NAGING bukas na ang Hollywood actor na si Sam Neill na pag-usapan ang pakikipaglaban niya sa sakit na cancer.
Na-diagnose last year ang 75-year old ‘Jurassic Park’ star with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, isang rare form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Sumasailalim siya sa iba’t ibang chemotherapy drugs at ngayon ay cancer-free na siya.
Kinuwento niya ang kanyang pinagdaanan sa kanyang memoir na “Did I Ever Tell You This?”
“I never had any intention to write a book. But as I went on and kept writing, I realized it was actually sort of giving me a reason to live and I would go to bed thinking, ‘I’ll write about that tomorrow… That will entertain me.’ And so it was a lifesaver really, because I couldn’t have gone through that with nothing to do, you know?” sey ng aktor na unang naramdaman ang symptoms ng kanyang sakit habang nagpe-press tour siya para sa pelikulang ‘Jurassic World Dominion’ noong Mach 2022.
