LRT 1 Cavite Extension 94 % kumpleto

INAASAHAN ng Light Rail Manila Corp. (LRMC), ang pribadong operator ng LRT 1, na matatapos ang LRT 1 Cavite Extension sa 2024 at magiging operasyonal sa huling quarter ng 2024.
Sa ngayon, ang konstruksyon ng 6.7- kilometer Phase 1 ay 94.1 porsiento ng tapos parehas sa civil at system works.
“We are optimistic that in less than a year, we are to begin the commercial operations of the LRT 1 Cavite Extension Phase 1 Project. The overall progress rate is a good signal to usher the country into an era of modern railway experience where passengers can take advantage of world-class amenities, user friendly and PWD-friendly facilities, high standards of safety and security, and value-added services,” wika ni LRMC president at chief executive officer Juan Alfonso.
Ang Phase 1 ay binubuo ng limang bagong estasyon na sa ngayon ay nasa iba’t ibang stages ng development. Ang mga estasyon ng Redemption – 86.3%; MIA – 86.9%; Asia World – 72.9%; Ninoy Aquino – 81.5%; at Dr. Santos – 90.5% ng kumpleto.
May pinakamalapit na estasyon sa airport ay ang MIA habang ang estasyon ng Asia World ay strategically planned na idudugtong sa Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) sa lungsod ng Paranaque.
“In September 2023, the rail project achieved over 358,338 safe man-hours. The project has now accumulated a total of 11.8 million safe man-hours without any lost time incidents,” saad ni Alfonso.
Ang mga bagong bahagi ng Cavite Extension project ay siyang magdudugtong ng LRT 1 sa Cavite na tatahak sa lugar ng Las Pinas, Zapote at Niog.
Inilipat sa pribadong sektor ang operasyon at maintenance ng LRT 1 bilang bahagi ng south extension project sa Cavite. LASACMAR
