NAGPAABOT ng pagbati ang Malakanyang kina Ginoong Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos, Jr. at Binibining Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio sa electoral victory at proklamasyon ng mga ito bilang President-elect of the Philippines at Vice President-elect of the Philippines.
“Today’s proclamation ceremony by Congress marks another historic milestone in our political life as a nation underscoring that we are, indeed, a showcase and beacon of democracy in this part of the world,” ayon kay Acting Presidential spokesperson at PCOO Secretary Martin Andanar.
Samantala, titiyakin naman ng Office of the President (OP) ang mapayapa at maayos na “transfer of powers” o paglilipat ng kapangyarihan sa President-elect sabay sabing “we extend all the necessary support and assistance to various transition activities. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas. Mabuhay ang mga Pilipino.” (Daris Jose)
