Mas marami pang ruta ng bus, dyip, UV bubuksan ng LTFRB

Magbubukas pa ng mas maraming ruta ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) sa operasyon ng mga bus, jeep, at UV Express units sa mga susunod na araw.
“We’re going to increase public transport because there is a need to do that, not just in Metro Manila but all across the country,” ani LTFRB chairperson Martin Delgra III sa isang panayam.
“Sa mga sumusunod na araw po, magbubukas din naman tayo ng mga panibagong mga ruta at dagdag na pampublikong sasakyan. Hindi lang po sa jeep kundi po sa mga bus at UV Express,” dgadag pa nito.
Ngayong Miyerkoles, July 29, pinayagan ang nasa 1,943 jeepney na bumiyahe sa 17 karagdagang ruta sa Metro Manila.
Giit pa ni Delgra, kinokonsidera ng LTFRB ang roadworthiness at pagtugon sa health protocols sa pagpili ng mga unit na papayagang makabiyahe.
“Nakita naman din po natin sa datos, they are of current registration. Ibig pong sabihin, we have assumed that they have gone through mandatory roadworthy test ng LTO (Land Transportation Office).” (Daris Jose)
