MAXINE, nilinaw na ‘promise ring’ at ‘di ‘engagement ring’ ang niregalo ng non-showbiz boyfriend

IN love ngayon si Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina sa isang non-showbiz guy.

Ang name ng guy na nagpapasaya sa kanya ay Timmy Llana.

June 2020 nang i-reveal ni Maxine ang relasyon niya kay Timmy na isang diving instructor. Noong December 2020 nag-celebrate sila ng kanilang first anniversary kunsaan binigyan si Maxine ng singsing ni Timmy.

Nilinaw ni Maxine na promise ring daw iyon at hindi engagement ring. Hindi raw niya pine-pressure ang boyfriend niya na mag-propose sa kanya.

“There’s no rush naman because we both have our careers to look after. Siguro kung magse-settle down ako, around the age of 34. By that time ay ready na ako to get married and have kids,” sey ng 30-year old former beauty queen.

Noong 2018 ay nakipaghiwalay si Maxine sa boyfriend niya of seven years na si Marx Topacio. Pero friends pa rin daw sila. Hindi na binanggit ni Maxine and reason ng breakup nila.

Anyway, kontrabida ang role ni Maxine sa GMA primetime teleserye na First Yaya na magsisimula na ngayong gabi after ng 24 Oras.

Aapihin daw niya ang bida rito na si Sanya Lopez.  Inamin ni Maxine na nahirapan siyang taray-tarayan si Sanya dahil in real life ay di siya mataray at siya pa raw ang binu-bully noon.

NI-REVEAL ng mag-asawang Doug at Chesca Kramer sa programang Tunay Na Buhay ang ilang attempts nilang makabuo ng ika-apat na baby sa pamamagitan ng in vitro fertilization or IVF.

Ang IVF ay procedure “that helps couples with fertility problems get pregnant. It is done by harvesting eggs or ova from the woman and having it fertilized by the man’s sperm outside of the woman’s body. The resulting embryos will later on be implanted into the uterus of the same woman or a surrogate.”

Tatlo ang naging anak nina Chesca and Doug noong kinasal sila in 2008. Naging mabenta sa TV commercials ang mga anak nilang sina Kendra, Scarlett at Gavin. Kung tawagin sila ay Team Kramer.

Noong 2013, after ipanganak ni Chesca si Gavin, sumailalim ito sa tubal ligation, isang procedure “that prevents pregnancy by inhibiting the egg cell from traveling from the ovaries to the fallopian tubes and simultaneously blocking the sperm cells from making its way up to the egg cell through the fallopian tubes. This is done by either cutting or tying the fallopian tubes.”

Inamin ni Doug na yung last two pregnancies ni Chesca ay nagpahina sa katawan nito kaya nagdesisyon silang magpa-ligate si Chesca.

Noong ready na ulit si Chesca magkaroon ng 4th baby after six years, doon na sila nahirapan. Three times na raw nag-fail ang IVF kay Chesca.

“So, for the past two years or a year and a half, we’ve had three failed IVFs na. But this year would be probably… I don’t know if it’s our last hurrah, but we’re gonna be doing everything a little more extensively.

“More details… so, yes, we’re trying talaga. The kids also, they all want to have a baby sister, a baby brother. There’s sunshine after a rain. And for us, all in God’s perfect timing,” sey ni Doug.
