Sisimulan ngayon Mayo 28 ang pagtuturok ng COVID-19 vaccines sa mga atleta na sasabak sa Olympic at Southeast Asian Games.
Sinabi ni Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) President Abraham Tolentino na mayroon ng abiso ang Inter-Agency Task Force for Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF-EID) sa pagsisimula ng pagbabakuna.
Gaganapin ito sa Manila Prince Hotel ganap ng alas-9 ng umaga.
Bukod sa mga manlalaro ay kabilang ang kanilang coaches, national sports association (NSA) officials.
Nauna rito hiniling ng POC at Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) sa national government na kung maaari ay mabakunahan ang mga atleta.
