PBBM, nilagdaan ang Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act

NILAGDAAN ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA) upang masiguro ang ‘uniform valuation’ sa real property assets.
Ayon sa Bureau of Local Government Finance, layon ng batas na i- promote ang development ng isang ” just, equitable, and efficient real property valuation system” na naka- aligned sa international standards.
Layon din ng batas na tugunan ang tinatawag na systemic problems, kabilang na ang multiple valuations sa bansa.
“The rampant disparity arises from overregulation and overlapping policies and jurisdiction resulting to weaker control and inconsistency in valuations,” ayon sa ulat.
Ayon sa Bureau of Local Government Finance, na sa pagi-improve sa kalidad ng valuation ng lokal na pamahalaan at gawing madalas ang revision , episyente, transparent, reliable, at attuned sa market developments, ang bagong batas ay magkakaroon ng ‘favorable impact’ sa revenue generation at resource mobilization ng lokal na gobyerno.
