Pinas, kaisa ng Ukraine sa pahahanap ng kapayapaan

NAKIISA si President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. kay Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy sa hangarin ng huli na “search for peace” sa gitna ng pag-atake ng Russia sa Ukraine.
Ang pangako na ito ni Pangulong Marcos ay nangyari sa isang phone call kay Zelenskiy.
“I had the pleasure of talking to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy yesterday. I told him that we in the Philippines are watching with admiration, the bravery and the nationalism that has been displayed by the Ukrainians during this crisis and that we join in his effort to reach a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict in his country,” ayon kayPangulong Marcos sa kanyang tweet, araw ng Martes.
“Mr. President, we are with you in your search for peace,” ang winika ng Pangulo kay Zelenskiy.
Nagpahayag naman ng pasasalamat si Zelenskiy kay Pangulong Marcos “for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.”
Sinabi ni Ukrainian leader na pinag-usapan nila ni Pangulong Marcos ang mas lalo pang palaliminin ang pagtutulungan partikular na sa international platforms.
Sinabi pa ni Pangulong Marcos na wala namang magigng problema sa gobyerno ng Pilipinas na makaugnay si Zelenskiy, at suportado nito ang “any effort toward peace.”
Matatandaang naglunsad ang Russia ng full-scale invasion sa Ukraine noong Pabrero 24, 2022, para kay President Vladimir Putin ito ay iang “special military operation” para “de-Nazify” ang bansa.
Binatikos naman ng maraming bansa kabilang na ang PIlipinas an ginawang pananakop na ito ng Russia sa Ukraine. (Daris Jose)
