Russian state media account, ini-demote ng Meta sa lahat

DEMOTED na sa lahat ng platforms ng Meta sa buong muna ang Russian state media accounts, gayundin ang mga content na kumokonekta sa mga sites nito.
Sa isang statement ay kinumpirma ito ni Meta’s global affairs president Nick Clegg.
Ang Meta aniya ang siyang nagde-demote ng content ng Russian state-controlled na media outlet mula sa mga Facebook page at Instagram account, at pinapahirapan din aniya nilang mahanap ito sa lahat ng kanilang platform.
Samantala, ang naturang algorithmic restrictions sa media outlets ng Russia ay sinundan din ng Twitter, bilang pagsunod nito sa panawagan ng mga opisyal ng European Union para sa mga tech platform na higitan pa ito upang hindi na muling mairekomenda pa sa mga users ang media out na pag-aari ng Russia.
Ayon naman kay Meta’s head of security policy Nathaniel Gleicher, ipapakita na rin sa mga intertitial warnings sa Facebook at Instagram ang mga user na magtatangkang mag-share ng mga link ng Russian state media websites.
