Sapat na bilang ng mga tren sa MRT-3, tiniyak upang matugunan ang dumaraming mga pasahero

TINIYAK ng pamunuan ng MRT-3 na sapat ang bilang ng mga tren ng MRT-3 para sa dumaraming pasahero.
Ito ang pahayag ni Transportation Assistant Secretary for Railways at MRT-3 Officer-in-Charge Jorjette B. Aquino kasunod ng balita na umabot sa 436,388 ang bilang ng mga pasaherong napagserbisyuhan ng MRT-3 noong Agosto 16.
Aniya, ito ang pinakamataas na bilang ng mga pasaherong sumakay mula Hunyo 2020, habang nasa 422,000 ang daily average ridership ng MRT-3.
Mayroong 18 train sets na tumatakbo sa mainline sa peak hours at 15 train sets sa off-peak hours.
Tatlo hanggang apat na spare trains naman ang maaari pang patakbuhin kung kinakailangan.
Giit ni Aquino, napakahalaga rin na regular at araw-araw na isinasagawa ang maintenance activities ng mga tren, gayundin ng buong linya, upang matiyak na maayos, ligtas, at iwas-aberya ang biyahe ng mga pasahero.
