Team Philippines sasabak sa 46 sports event sa 2022 Asiad

Isinumite na ni Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino ang listahan ng mga sports events na lalahukan ng mga Pinoy athletes sa 2022 Asian Games sa Hangzhou, China.

 

 

Sasabak ang Team Philippines sa 46 sa kabuuang 61 sports events na inilatag para sa 2022 Asiad na nakatakda sa Setyembre 10 hanggang 25 sa susunod na taon.

 

 

“We submitted our list last Friday — the deadline — and we based our list on our effort to surpass our last achievement of four gold medals — in Jakarta — because we improved a lot in the SEA Games,” wika kahapon ni Tolentino.

 

 

Ang nasabing listahan ng mga sports events na sasalihan ng mga Pinoy athletes ay isinumite ng POC sa Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee.

 

 

Ang mga ito ay ang aquatics, archery, athletics, baseball, softball, men’s basketball, men’s 3×3 basketball, boxing, canoe-kaya, cycling MTB at BMX, dancesports’s breaking, men’s dragon boat, equestrian, fencing, men’s football, golf, artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, judo, jiu-jitsu, kurash, karate, bridge, chess, esports, xiangqi, mo­dern pentathlon, skateboarding, rowing at men’s rugby.

 

 

Maglalaro rin ang mga Pinoy sa sailing, sepak takraw, shooting, sports climbing, squash, taekwondo, tennis, triathlon, men’s at women’s volleyball, men’s at women’s beach volleyball, weightlifting, wrestling at wushu.

 

 

Noong 2018 edition ay kumolekta ang Team Philippines ng apat na gold medals  bukod pa rito ang dalawang silver medals at 15 bronze medals.
