KAHIT na hindi pa rin nagkakasama ulit ang magsyotang EA Guzman at Shaira Diaz, hindi naman nakalimutan ni EA na batiin si Shaira noong 27th birthday nito noong nakaraang May 3.

Tapos na si EA sa kanyang taping, pero si Shaira ay nasa lock-in taping pa ng Lolong. Kaya ang ginawa ni EA ay nag-post ng photo nila ni Shaira sa Instagram ay nilagyan niya ng caption na: “Happy Birthday sa Miss Universe ng buhay ko @shairadiaz_… Miss kita araw-araw, mahal kita habangbuhay!”

Kilig na reply naman ni Shaira: “Aaaawww!!! Love you, baba!!! Thank you for everything!”

Maraming okasyon na raw na hindi nagkakasama sina EA at Shaira dahil pareho silang naging abala sa kanilang tapings. Mas lalo raw nila nami-miss ang dalawa kapag nagkakahiwalay sila. 

Ilang araw na lang kasi ay matatapos na si Shaira sa taping ng Lolong at puwede na silang mag-post celebrate ni Ea ng kanyang birthday. 

Natuwa naman si Shaira nang bigyan siya at si Arra San Agustin ng surprise birthday party sa set ng teleserye na inasikaso mismo ng leading man nilang si Ruru Madrid.

NAG-POST ng isang open letter sa Instagram ang boyfriend ng bagong koronang Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi na si Matthew Custodio.

Player ng Philippine Azkals si Matthew at sobrang proud siya sa na-achieve ng kanyang girlfriend. 

Maraming netizen ang kinilig sa open letter ni Matthew para kay Celeste. Wish ng marami na sana’y magtagal at hindi magkaroon ng sad ending ang relasyon nila tulad sa mga nangyari sa ibang beauty queens na nakipaghiwalay sa kanilang boyfriends. 

Ginawa pa nilang example ang ang nangyari sa lovelife nina MUP wnners na sina Rabiya Mateo at Beatrice Gomez. Wala raw sanang maging sumpa ang korona ng MUP sa lovelife nina Celeste at Matthew.

Anyway, ito ang open letter ni Matthew:

“My Queen. An evening we will cherish forever!! To see you with the Crown on that stage gave us all extreme chills.. you were stunning! On behalf of everyone else that had known her before she began the official journey for the Miss Universe; we’ve always known she was bound for the Crown. we’ve seen her GROW, we’ve seen her inspire the people she meets not just by words & actions.. BUT by simply carrying her values, her upbringing., she keeps her feet on the ground., she stands consistently true on honesty , loyalty & perseverance. As crazy as this may sound, we’ve witnessed the Universe align towards you. You are a magical human being and you were raised to do GOOD things. You didn’t have to be a panelist nor a front row judge to see that she possesses the attributes of a true, regal Queen. On a personal level, I feel very blessed to be loved by you. Like a mother’s love, your love is a constant reminder that there is a greater meaning & purpose in our lives. I cannot wait for our country & the whole world to feel the love you are about to share. It needs it.”

Nag-reply naman si Celeste ng: Awww I cried ahahah! Thank you boo, thank you for your support and patience. This is just the beginning.”

NATUPAD ang collaboration ng Hollywood actor na si Tom Cruise sa singer na si Lady Gaga dahil ito ang aawit ng theme song ng  Top Gun: Maverick.

“Hold My Hand” ang title ng theme song nang kauna-unahang pelikula ni Tom pagkaraan ng dalawang taon gawa ng pandemic. Ito ang sequel ng 1986 film ni Tom na Top Gun.

Kinuwento ng aktor kung paano niya nakumbinse si Gaga para awitin ang theme song: “I called her… We shot most of the film and we had Lorne Balfe to produce the score, we had Hans Zimmer… There was a door that we were trying to open musically… We were searching for a long period of time… She composed the score… She sent the song over… The moment we heard it was just, here’s this artist, we are in England, and she is all the way over in America. It was almost as if she was talking to us… It was perfect.

“I went to Vegas to thank her… and then I was going to come back and see her jazz show, then the pandemic hit… The next live show I was able to see was her jazz show, two years… It was a moment of celebration for us… Our film together… The story of how her score is laid in, to just build in that moment — I feel grateful.”
