PALABANG nakakopo ng silver medal ang GlobalPort-Philippine team sa 5th All Asia Cup 2020 na nitong Pebrero 2-9 sa VS Sports Club & Siam Polo Park sa Preng, Thailand.
Nabigo man sa host team sa gold medal game sa anim na koponang torneo, kuntento naman si Philippine National Federation of Polo Players (PNFPP) founding director at House Deputy Speaker Michael Romero sa niladlad ng koponan.
“Up against some of the best teams in the Asian region, we proved we can be at par with them,” bulalas nitong Martes ni Romero, kasapi ng PH squad na naka-bronze medal sa 30th Southeast Asian Games PH 2019 sa world-class Miguel Romero Field sa Calatagan, Batangas noong Disyembre.
“Given more time to train and play in various tournaments abroad, I strongly believe we can play much better the next time. The chemistry is there so we just have to sustain it,” panapos niyang sambit.
