BBM binati na nina Biden, Xi

NAGKAUSAP at binati na si presumptive president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos at US President Joe Biden.

Kinumpirma ng White House na binati si Marcos ni Biden matapos ang tagumpay sa nakaraang halalan.

Nakasaad din sa statement na binanggit ni Biden ang kahalagahan nang pagpapalakas ng alyansa ng Pilipinas at Amerika habang nagtutulungan sa mara­ming isyu katulad nang paglaban sa COVID-19, problema sa klima, pagpapalakas ng ekonomiya at pagrespeto sa karapatang pantao.

“President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. spoke today with President-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr. of the Philippines to congratulate him on his election. President Biden underscored that he looks forward to working with the President-elect to continue strengthening the U.S.-Philippine Alliance, while expan­ding bilateral cooperation on a wide range of issues, including the fight against COVID-19, addressing the climate crisis, promoting broad-based economic growth, and respect for human right,” anang White House.

Ikinagalak naman ni Marcos ang pagkilala ng US sa kanyang tagumpay.

Nauna rito, kinumpirma ni Atty. Vic ­Rodriguez ang pagtawag ni Biden kay Marcos.

Sinabi rin ni Rodriguez na magiging bukas para sa lahat ang ­foreign policy ng susunod na administrasyon.

“We will not be exclusive to anyone. The interest of the Filipino people and the national interest comes first and it will never be compromised especially our territorial integrity,” ani Rodriguez.

Samantala , binati na rin ni Chinese Pres. Xi Jinping si Marcos .

Ayon sa Embahada ng Chinese sa Manila, kinilala ni Xi ang pagiging mag-partner ng Pinas at China.

“I am honored to forward the congratulatory message from H.E. President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China on your elections as president of the Republic of the ­Philippines,” ayon sa ambassador.

“Again, on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines and in my own name, I would like to convey my heartfelt congratulations on Your Excellency’s election as the 17th President of the Philippines,” saad ng ­liham.

Ayon pa sa opisyal ng China, patuloy ang kanilang maayos na pakikipag-ugnayan sa Pilipinas para sa mas maayos na relasyon. (Daris Jose)
