Face-to-face classes, napapanahon na — Pangulong Marcos

WALA nang makakapigil sa pagbabalik ng “full face-to-face” classes matapos itong banggitin ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa kanyang State of the Nation Address (SONA).
Ayon kay Marcos, naniniwala siya na panahon na para bumalik sa mga silid aralan ang mga estudyante.
“In the educational sector, I believe it is time for our children to return to full face-to-face classes once again,” ani Marcos.
Sinabi rin ni Marcos na pinaghahandaan na ito ng Department of Education sa pangunguna ni Vice President Sara Duterte pero ikinokonsidera rin ang kaligtasan ng mga estudyante dahil nasa gitna pa rin ng COVID-19 pandemic ang bansa.
Pinatitiyak din ni Marcos ang kaligtasan hindi lang ng mga estudyante kundi ng mga guro at buong academic community sa pagbabalik ng face-to-face classes.
Muling hinikayat ni Marcos ang lahat na magpaturok ng booster shots bilang paghahanda sa in-person classes.
Ito ang dahilan kung bakit ipinag-utos niya sa Department of Health (DOH) at Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) na magsagawa ng panibagong rollout ng booster shots.
Idinagdag ni Marcos na nagsasagawa na rin ng pag-aaral sa K-12 school system.
