Utos ni PBBM sa DND, sugpuin ang ‘criminal activities’ sa Negros Island

IPINAG-UTOS ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa  Department of National Defense (DND) na sugpuin ang  “criminal activities at impunity” sa buong  Negros Island.

Sinabi ni Defense Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr.  na ipinalabas ng Pangulo ang nasabing kautusan kasabay ng atas sa kanya na bigyan ng katarungan ang pamilya ni Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo at walong iba pa na pawang mga biktima ng pagpatay matapos tambangan noong Marso 4.

“And to give justice to the families and loved ones of those who were slain in the assassination of Governor Roel Degamo and restore normalcy and confidence of our people,” ayon kay Galvez sa isang panayam.

Nagbigay din aniya si Pangulong Marcos sa kanya ng verbal orders  na lumikha ng  joint task force  na binubuo ng dalawang brigada  para paigtingin at tulungan ang nagpapatuloy na joint Armed Forces of the Philippines-Philippine National Police (AFP-PNP) operations.

“This joint task force is tasked to carry out Marcos’ order and search warrants,” diing pahayag ni Galvez.

“Also we have just deployed a 50-man specially-trained strong Light Reaction Company, kung alam nyo po yung light reaction company, they were involved in the Battle of Marawi (in 2017) from the deployment of the AFP to monitor the remaining suspects,” dagdag na wika nito.

Ang deployment  ng nasabing special troops ay pagbibigay-diin lamang sa naunang pahayag ng Pangulo na “the suspects can run but cannot hide.”

“As the President had said that we will give justice to the family and sabi niya na suspects, you can run but you cannot hide, we will find you,” ani Galvez. (Daris Jose)
