CSC sa mga honor grads: Mag-apply ng eligibility

HINIKAYAT ng Civil Service Commission (CSC) ang mga college students graduates na suma cum laude, magna cum laude at cum laude na mag-apply ng eligibility sa kanilang tanggapan.
Ayon kay CSC Chairman Karlo Alexei Nograles, ang nasabing eligibility ay magagamit ng mga honor graduates sa pag-a-apply ng trabaho sa mga posisyon sa gobyerno.
Ang CSC ay nagkakaloob ng Honor Graduate Eligibility (HGE) para sa Latin honor graduates sa Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEI) sa Pilipinas mula School Year 1972-1973 sa baccalaureate o bachelor’s degrees na kinikilala ng Commission on Higher Education alinsunod sa Presidential Decree No. 907 na inisyu noong Marso 11, 1976.
Layunin ng batas na agarang maisama ang mga Latin honor graduates sa public service upang matiyak ang partisipasyon ng mga ito sa public affairs na mapag-ibayo pa ang kalidad ng serbisyo publiko.
“Honor graduates can easily secure their civil service eligibility without undergoing the examination. The fact that they graduated with honors is considered sufficient basis to determine merit and excellence for public employment,” ayon pa sa opisyal.
