LTFRB sinisilip mataas na pasahe, surge fees ng Grab

SINISIYASAT na ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang umano’y paggamit ng Grab ng algorithm para sa pasahe at price surge nito na inirereklamo ng mga customer.
Sa isang radio interview, sinabi ni LTFRB chairperson Teofilo Guadiz na masyadong malaki ang singil ng Grab kaya nila kinuwestyon at iniimbestigahan.
“Ang formula nila, iyon ang kinukuwestiyon ko ngayon. Baka gawin na lang uniform rate o i-reduce ang surge fees by as much as 50 percent,” ani Guadiz.
Umaasa ang LTFRB head na makatutulong ang pagpasok ng dagdag na 5,000 TNVS units sa Metro Manila para matugunan ang demand at mapababa ang price surge.
“Hopefully with this, totally ma-re-reduce if not totally matatanggal iyong surge charges on certain hours of the day. Usually, ang surge fees in the morning, pag pasukan at saka sa hapon pag-uwian na, between 4 to 7 o’clock,” dagdag pa ni Guadiz. ( Daris Jose)
