No. 3 most wanted person ng Navotas, timbog sa Bataan

Isang puganti na nagtago nang halos sampung taon dahil sa pagpatay sa kanyang kapitbahay sa Navotas city ang tuluyan nang naaresto ng pulisya sa isang liblib na lugar sa probinsya ng Bataan.
Kinilala ni Navotas police chief P/Col. Rolando Balasabas ang naarestong suspek na si Roberto Jiongco, Jr. alyas “Jeje”, 32, welder at residinte ng ibinigay niyang address sa Barangay Mountain View, Mariveles, Bataan.
Si Jiongco ay itinuturing na No. 3 Most Wanted Person ng Navotas matapos mapatay nito si Marlon Ramirez noong April 17, 2010 makaraang pagsasaksakin sa iba’t-ibang parte ng katawan habang naglalakad pauwi.
Isang warrant of arrest kontra sa akusado ang inisyu ni Malabon Regional Trial Court (RTC) Judge Zaldy Docena ng Branch 170 matapos siyang tumakas mula sa lungsod makaraan ang pagpatay.
Sinabi ni Col. Balasabas na ang pagkakaaresto kay Jiongco ay nresulta ng ilang linggong intensive surveillance at intelligence operation na isinagawa ng mga operatiba ng Intelligence Unit sa pangunguna ni P/Lt. Luis Rufo, Jr.
Nadakip si Jiongco ng mga tauhan ng Navotas police sa Rodriguez St. Brgy. Cabcaben, Mariveles, Bataan dakong 3:30 ng hapon. (Richard Mesa)
