DILG, maaaring i-realign ang pondo para ma-cover ang re-employment ng contact tracers – Avisado

MAAARING i-realign ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ang pondo nito para ma-cover ang re-employment ng contact tracers (CTs).

Ito ang inihayag ni Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Wendel Avisado bilang pagbibigay katiyakan matapos na sabihin ng DILG noong Enero 16 na maaari lamang silang makapag-rehire ng 15,000 CTs sa ilalim ng six-month contract bunsod ng kagipitan sa pondo.

Ang DILG ay nakapag-hire lamang ng 50,000 contact tracers noong nakaraang taon.

“Modification lang po kailangan po n’yan, sandali lang po iyan. Hindi na po aakyat sa Pangulo ‘iyan. Dito na lang sa level ko, na-approve ko na po iyan,” ayon kay Sec. Avisado sa Laging Handa briefing.

“Wala pong problema patungkol diyan,” dagdag na pahayag nito.

Sa ulat, muling tatanggap ang Department of the Interior and Local Government ng 15,000 pang contact tracers (CTs) para sa COVID-19 contact-tracing efforts.

“While the country’s COVID-19 response is significantly improving, we should sustain our contact tracing efforts especially with the reported entry of the new UK coronavirus variant into the country,” saad sa kalatas ng DILG.

“We are pleased that we have been given the funds to re-hire some 15,000 CTs this year who will continue to help us track down, monitor coronavirus cases, and cut transmission in the community,” ani DILG Undersecretary and Spokesperson Jonathan Malaya.

“Much as we would like to continue the services of all the 50,000 CTs hired in 2020, we need to have a more rational number of CTs and work within the available budget allotted to the Department. Hence, only 15,000 CTs will be re-hired under a six-month contract in the meantime while we wait for the release of additional funds.”

“DILG field offices and the LGUs are directed to conduct an immediate assessment of the performance of the contact tracers and proceed with the selection of those who have effectively and efficiently performed their assigned tasks,” punto pa nito.

Sa memorandum na nilagdaan ni DILG Officer-in-Charge Bernardo Florece, Jr., inatasan ang DILG regional directors na magtungo ang lahat ng DILG-hired contact tracers sa kani-kanilang mga rehiyon upang ibailik ang kanilang identification cards sa local government unit (LGU) sa pagtatapos ng kanilang kontrata noong December 31, 2020. Desisyon ng IATF, binawi ni PDu30

BINAWI ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte ang naging desisyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) na payagan na ang mga kabataang may edad na 10 hanggang 14 na nasa lugar na nasa ilalim ng Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) na lumabas-labas ng bahay simula sa Pebrero 1.

“Yung restrictions na lifting the age for 10 to 14 age group sa MGCQ areas na palabasin na ‘yung mga 10 to 14, I am compelled. It has nothing to do with their incompetence, not at all. Ang akin is a precaution because there is or there was or is a [variant] discovered in the Cordillera that is very similar to the [variant] dito sa United Kingdom,” ayon kay Pangulong Duterte sa kanyang public address, Lunes ng gabi.

“Balik ho kayo sa bahay muna. Besides 10 years old to 14…10, 11, 12 pwede na sila sa TV. They can glue their attention sa TV the whole day. Pasensya na po kayo. Mine is just a precaution. Takot lang ako kasi ‘yung bagong [variant] strikes the children,” dagdag na pahayag nito sabay sabing “… just to be sure and in our desire to protect our people napilitan akong ireimpose ang 10 to 14, not at this time. it’s a sacrificee for the parents and the children, it would limit their movements…”

Nauna nang sinabi ni Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque na pwede nang lumabas ng kanilang mga tahanan ang mga batang eadad 10 hanggang 14 taong gulang.

“The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) approved the recommendation to relax age-based restrictions for areas placed under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) beginning February 1, 2021,” ayon kay Sec. Roque.

“Any person below ten (10) years old and those who are over sixty-five (65) years of age shall be required to remain in their residence at all times.” dagdag na pahayag nito.

Hinihihikayat na rin aniya ng IATF ang mga local government units ng mga nasa General Community Quarantine na i-relax ang ipinatutupad na age-restrictions sa paglabas-labas ng bahay.

Ito’y kahit marami sa mga COVID-19 vaccines ang hindi pwedeng iturok basta-basta sa menor de edad. Rekomendado ang Pfizer vaccine sa 16-anyos pataas habang ang Moderna ay para sa 18-anyos pataas.

Una nang gustong mapaluwag ng National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) ang mga nasabing restriction, lalo na’t 50% aniya ng economic activities ay nagmumula sa mga aktibidad ng pamilya. Kapag nasa loob ang mga bata, nasa loob din ang mga magulang para mag-alaga.

Sa ngayon, tanging mga 15-65 lang ang pinapayagang lumabas ng mga bahay. Pinapayagan lang ang paglabas ng mga naturang tao kung kukuha ng mga mahahalagang pang-araw-araw na pangangailangan.

Dahil sa banta ng COVID-19 sa kalusugan ng kabataan, ipinagbabawal pa rin ang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas sa bansa sa ngayon. (Daris Jose)

INILATAG na ng gobyerno ang sistema na ipatutupad na may kinalaman sa pagdating sa bansa ng COVID 19 vaccine hanggang sa ito ay maibigay na sa mga recipient.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, mula sa paliparan ay kukunin ang mga paparating na bakuna ng mga refrigerated trucks.

At mula sa airport ay dadalhin naman ito sa DOH rented private warehouse o sa RITM at mula dito ay dadalhin naman ang mga ito sa regional warehouse at hub.

Habang ang susunod ng destinasyon ng mga bakuna ay sa rural health units na at sa mga city health offices hanggang sa maibigay na ang vaccine sa ating mga kababayan.

“Ganito po ang proseso ng vaccine distribution ha – mula cold-storage facility hanggang sa recipient. Pagdating po sa Pilipinas, siyempre po naka-refrigerate iyan sa eroplano, susunduin po iyan ng refrigerated ng mga trucks din. Dadalhin po muna iyan sa DOH rented private warehouse or sa RITM,” ayon kay Sec. Roque.

“Ito po muna ha, unahin muna natin iyong sa cold-storage facility na nangangailangan po ng -2 to -8 and -20 ‘no. Pagdating po ay dadalhin sa DOH rented private warehouse, pagkatapos po ay ipapadala through refrigerated vans din sa regional warehouse at hub. From the regional warehouse at hub po, dadalhin iyan sa mga city health offices at saka sa mga provincial health offices na mayroon din pong mga refrigerator. ‘Godzilla Vs. Kong’ Drops New Poster And First Trailer

TWO of the most iconic monsters in film, Godzilla and King Kong are ready for a confrontation in the new Godzilla Vs. Kong poster.

Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment will soon be releasing the big crossover film, now that their MonsterVerse had been set up by the Godzilla reboot in 2014, Kong: Skull Island in 2017, and 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Legendary revealed a new poster for the upcoming film, along with the announcement that its first trailer will drop on Sunday, January 24.

And the official trailer of the upcoming monster mashup film has finally been released, and it offers some epic footage of the colossal clash.

This new film will finally bring together the iconic monsters in one epic battle.

Besides this thrilling trailer, the official synopsis for the film has also been revealed.

“Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home, and with them is Jia, a young orphaned girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond. But they unexpectedly find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla, cutting a swath of destruction across the globe. The epic clash between the two titans—instigated by unseen forces—is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the Earth.”

The film is directed by Adam Wingard from a screenplay of Eric Pearson. It stars Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, and Brian Tyree Henry.

Aminado ang Pangulo na maraming filipino na matatalino subalit walang trabaho.

“Diyan sa Civil Service, maraming nakalista diyan first grade eligible na hanggang ngayon hindi pa nakakita ng trabaho,” anito.

Kaya nga, ang suhestiyon niya sa mga first grade eligible ay mag-apply na kaagad sa Civil Service at , huwag nang maghanap ng padrino para makakuha ng trabaho.

“Huwag ng mag-padrino-padrino. Mag-apply kayo sa Civil Service, the Civil Service will check the recommendations and I’ll appoint you.

Kick-off event ng BLACKPINK, ‘di natuloy dahil nag-fluctuate ang signals bago mag-countdown

ANG South Korean girl group na BLACKPINK na binubuo nina Jisoo, Jennie, Rose at Lisa, ang official brand ambassador ng Globe.

Dapat pala, last Friday evening, January 22, ay may kick-off event sa Bonifacio Global City, na ang aim ng Globe ay, to “reinvent the world” of Filipino BLINKS fans by staging “The Opening Act,” na magpi-feature sila ng series of skylight displays, sa pamamagitan ng paggamit ng drones, bilang pagbibigay-pugay sa popular K-pop group.

Pero nabigo ang Globe at ang mga BLINKS na mapanood ang show dahil nag-fluctuate ang signals bago magsimula ang 7PM countdown. Hindi nag-normalize ang mga drones at nawala ang GPS at satellite signals, kaya napilitan na silang hindi ituloy ang show, bigo silang ma-regain ang access sa mga signals.

Two hours na naghintay ang mga fans kaya nag-issue ng statement ang Globe: “Due to circumstances that are beyond our control, we will need to shift gears and reschedule The Opening Act to a later date. To express our appreciation for all of you who stayed with us tonight, we will be giving away 1000 The Show tickets so you can catch the girls live on January 31.”

NGAYONG graduate na si Jolo Estrada, eldest son ng actor-politician na si Senator Jinggoy Estrada, nag-decide na rin siyang ituloy ang pagpasok sa showbiz.

Tinapos muna ni Jolo ang kursong Entrepreneurship sa Ateneo de Manila bago siya pumirma ng management contract sa talent manager na si Leo Dominguez ng LVD Management.

Pero bago nag-sign ng contract, nag-work out muna si Jolo dahil medyo lumaki siya noong nag-aaral pa siya. Ngayong tuloy na siya sa showbiz, hindi naman daw niya sasayangin ang pinag-aralan niya. May itinayo na siyang barber shop sa San Juan at soon ay magbubukas na siya ng boxing club, ang Ultrabox, na dapat daw ay last year pa niya ginawa kaya lamang dahil sa pandemic, ay hindi muna niya itinuloy.

Si Jolo ang second sa four children nina Sen. Jinggoy and Precy Ejercito. Minsan nang nag-try ng acting si Jolo, nang isama siya ng ama sa comedy movie nilang Ang Tatay Kong Sexy, at noon pa man ay nakatanggap na siya ng offers pero hindi niya tinanggap dahil gusto nga muna niyang magtapos ng studies niya.
