TBA Studios’ ‘Dito at Doon’ (Here and There) to Have a World Premiere at Osaka Asian Film Festival

JP Habac’s upcoming film Dito at Doon (Here and There) starring Janine Gutierrez and JC Santos, will  premiering at the 2021 Osaka Asian Film Festival in March.

The film will be screened at the Cine Libre Umeda in Osaka on March 9 and March 13 as part of the festival’s New Action! Southeast Asia Section.

TBA Studios announced the good news through their Instragram account:

Part of Janine’s IG post was:

“Soooo happy about the news!! I wiiiish we could be there to attend but just very grateful that we got in at wala nang mas makapagpapasaya sakin kundi ang mapanood niyo ang aming pelikula.

“Lab, Len & Cabs.”

Meanwhile, Director Habac expressed his gratitude at the OAFF organizers for selecting the romantic movie for screening.

Dito at Doon will release in the Philippines three days later on March 17. Brought to you by TBA Studios, in association with Paulo Avelino‘s WASD Films.

The film is set in the pandemic era, with Janine playing Len, a frontliner and despite living alone in the lockdown, manages to meet someone through a mutual friend in an ‘e-numan’.

That someone turns out to be JC’s character Cabs, a delivery man who makes a connection with Len through video chats and phone calls.

The movie marks Janine and JC second film, they worked together on Rae Red‘s Babae at Baril in 2019, for which Janine was named best actress at the 43rd Gawad Urian and Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Digital 2020 Awards.

Dito at Doon also stars Yesh Burce and Victor Anastacio, with the special participation of Lotlot De Leon.
TBA Studios also announces the song ‘Nakikinig Ka Ba Sa Akin’ by Ben and Ben is the official soundtrack for Dito at Doon.
