Bulkang Taal, nagkaroon ng phreatomagmatic eruption – Phivolcs

NAKAPAGTALA ng phreatomagmatic eruption ang Phivolcs sa Taal Volcano bandang alas-4:21 nitong Miyerkules ng hapon.
Ito ay mas malakas na pagsabog na maaaring maglabas ng malaking volume ng volcanic materials.
Inaalam pa ang ibang detalye ng nasabing development.
Una rito, limang phreatic eruption events ang Phivolcs sa Taal sa nakalipas na 24 na oras.
Ang steaming plume nito ay may 2,100 metrong taas.
Katamtamang pagsingaw na ito at napadpad sa hilagang-silangan at silangan-hilagang-silangan ng bulkan na matatagpuan sa Batangas.
Maliban dito, mayroon ding anim na volcanic tremors, kung saan 2-10 minuto ang itinagal ng mga ito.
Ang Sulfur Dioxide Flux (SO2) naman ay umabot sa 1,354 tonelada / araw.
Mayroon ding upwelling ng mainit na volcanic fluids sa Main Crater Lake na indikasyon ng patuloy na abnormalidad.
Nakitaan din ng ground deformation ang Taal Caldera na may panandaliang pamamaga ng gawing hilaga at timog silangang bahagi ng Taal Volcano Island.
Nananatili naman ito sa alert level 1 at posible pang masundan ang naturang volcanic activity. (Daris Jose)
