DSWD may P581-M standby funds pa

Siniguro ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na mayroon pa itong mahigit P581-million standby at stockpile funds para ipangdagdag sa resources ng mga lokal na pamahalaan na labis na naapektuhan ng coronavirus disease pandemic.
Ayon kay DSWD Secretary Rolando Joselito D. Bautista na mayroong sapat na resources ang ahensya para tulungan ang mga LGUs.
“Ang standby funds po natin kasama po yung nandito sa Central Office (Our standby funds, including that of the Central Office), we have an amount of P526.9 million intended for the NCR (National Capital Region)-plus areas and at the same time in other regions,” saad nito sa isinagawang Talk to the Nation ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kagabi.
Sa P526.9-million standby funds, P517.9 million dito ang inilaan bilang standby funds ng DSWD Central Office. Habang ang DSWD-NCR, Central Luzon at Calabazon naman ay may P3-million bawat isa.
Aabot naman ng pp,317 family food packs na nagkakahalaga ng P54.4 million ang maaaring ipamahagi.
Tuloy-tuloy aniya ang repacking ng mga family food packs. Ang guidance raw sa bawat warehos ay kung mga LGUs na nanghihingi ng agarang tulong ay kaagad ibibigay ang family food packs.
Saad pa nito na mayroong limitasyon sa repackaging ng FFPs, dahilo mahigpit na sinusunod ang mga health protocols.
Bago raw ang pandemic, kayang mag-repack ng ahensya ng 50,000 family food packs kada araw.
