Emosyonal sa pagtatapos ng termino bilang Congressman: ALFRED, tuloy-tuloy ang paglilingkod sa QC bilang isang Councilor

TULOY-TULOY lang ang pagsi-serve ng actor-public servant na si Alfred Vargas kahit tapos na ang termino niya bilang Congressman ng QC.

Pinost ni Alfred ang kanyang panunumpa sa bagong posiston bilang Konsehal.

Caption niya, “Public service is a call we’d gladly and honorably answer any time.

At sa kanyang speech para sa huling State of the District Address (SODA) bilang 5th District Representative ng Quezon City ay hindi nga naiwasan ni Alfred na maging emosyonal.

Pahayag ni Konsehal Alfred, “For my last State of the District Address, I am honored to report that we are capping off our 3 terms as Congressman with more than 1,256 House Bills & Resolutions, 87+ Laws enacted, & a sustainable program that has benefited thousands of residents in our District.

“We have always relied on people’s participation in practicing good governance. We have achieved a lot because we’ve managed to discuss our people’s needs together & we were able to make decisions on the basis of our common care & concern for the general welfare of our people.

“I can sincerely say that we’ve done our best to serve our district & the Filipino people.”

Dagdag pa niya, “I’m proud to pass the baton to another dignified public servant, Representative PM VARGAS @pmvargasph.

“The 5th District of QC is in good hands. Thank you & God bless us all!”
